Inishmore 01.10.99

Inishmore is the largest of the three Aran Islands in Galway Bay. It was so stormy that day that the ferry was cancelled! On the quay I met Maura (and a dog which kept following us...) so we three decided to explore this bizarre island. The dog barked at everything he saw, which caused a bull to get angry at us. Unfortunately, I have no picture of him since it's so difficult to operate a camera when you are running ...
Maura sent me some of her photo's! I scanned them and added an extra section. Go have a look.

A furious sea raging against a desert of stone.

The bronze age celtic stonefort Dun Aonghasa.

Beautiful colors at An Tra Mhor.

Postcard style rainbow and cottages :-)

Good surf.

Splaaaaash.

The work of glaciers, wind and rain.

Cemetary at the seashore.

A cow and a donkey.

Endless walls.
